Ingredients for Chana Daal Ki Khichdi

  • 2 cup basmati rice
  • Chana dal 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • 2 large sliced onion
  • Chopped green chili 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Deshi ghee 1 tbsp
  • Mint leaves for garnishing

How to cook Chana Daal Ki Khichdi

  1. Wash the dal and soak for 10 minutes.wash and soak the rice also.
  2. Fry the onion in ghee and keep aside .
  3. Now heat the remaining oil in cooker pop the cumin,add green chili ,add dal and 2 cup water .cook for 5 minute
  4. Add rice ,salt.red chili powder add more water if required and cook till it done on sim
  5. Garnish with fried onion and mint leaves .
