Ingredients for Chachhari With Pumpkin Stem

  • 1 bowl pumpkin stem
  • 10-12 pieces pumpkin
  • 7-8 pieces potato
  • 7-8 pieces arvi
  • 7-8 pieces tarai
  • 7-8 pieces pointed gourd
  • 1/2 cup tomato paste
  • 1 tsp cumin paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp panch phoran
  • 1/2 cup boiled lobia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • Slice green chilli
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

How to cook Chachhari With Pumpkin Stem

  1. Pumpkin stem should be tender and peal out the skin. Cut in 1.5 inches long.
  2. All vegetable should be same size and same amount.
  3. Heat a pan add oil and panch phoran. Add all vegetable with stem. Add turmeric powder, cumin paste, ginger paste, chilli paste, sugar and salt.
  4. Mix well add boiled Libya seeds and cover with lid.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, again stir add green chilli.
  6. Ready to serve with steam rice.
