  • 10 slice Sweet or bread bread
  • 6 spoons Desi Ghee tb
  • 3 cup Milk of whole fat
  • 1 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar or bread half the measurement bread
  • Nuts cardamom powder roasted


  • Take 10 wheat bread slices Powder them in a mixie.
  •  Heat a heavy bottomed pan with 2 tb spoons of ghee. Once the ghee is heated keep the flame low and roast the bread powder to golden brown colour.
  •  Now add 3 cups (250 ml) of whole fat milk to it and stir well. In few minutes the bread absorbs the milk fully and becomes like a paste consistency.
  •  Now add 1 1/2 cups (Half of the measurement of bread powder) of sugar to it and stir well. While stirring add 3 tb spoons of ghee.
  •  Within 5 minutes the halwa will come like a ball without stirring to the pan. Add roasted nuts, cardamom powder and stir.
