Bread Dahi Bhalla

Mostly dahi balla is made of dal,but this bhalla is made of bread. Very easy and fast making are best things of this recipe. Kids like it very much.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 white bread slices
  • 300 gm curd dahi
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 3 tbs coconut powder
  • Salt
  • 2 teaspoon chopped almonds
  • 1/4 cup tamarind chutney and green chutney each
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt for serving
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder for serving
  • 2 teaspoon chopped kaaju
  • 2 tbs kishmish
  • Sev for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl,put coconut powder,chopped almonds,kishmish,chopped kaaju and salt. set aside.
  • Cut bread slices into rounds
  • Lightly wet one side of the bread and put 2 teaspoons of filling in center of bread and fold the bread in half, forming semi-circle.
  • Press the edges together with your fingers. Make sure the edges are sealed.
  • Make rest of the bhallas in the same manner.
  • Brush the bhallas both side lightly with oil, and toast them in toaster oven just enough that bread has become light golden brown.
  • Whip the yogurt until smooth.
  • Add salt according to taste
  • When ready to serve, soak them(bhallas) in water for one minute and squeeze thebhalla lightly between your both palms.
  • Dip them(bhallas) in yogurt one at a time and arrange them in serving plate.
  • Sprinkle the red chili powder to your taste, it is optional,Some kids dont like red chilli,
  • drizzle the tamarind chutney,green chutney and sev
