The superb herb brahmi leaves recipe in a Naga Style Chutney. Brahmi is one super food having lots of medicinal properties. It is also used widely in ayurveda.
Yield / Serves
Brahmi leaves - 2 cups
Green Chilly - 10-12
Tomato - 1 large
Dry Fish - 1 medium
Garlic - 4-5
Salt to taste
Wash the brahmi leaves nicely and collect on the leaves.
Prick the green chillies. Heat a tawa over gas top.
Roast the green chillies, tomato and dry fish till all roasted well about 10-12 mins.
In a mortar and pestle coarsely ground the green chillies, garlic cloves an dry fish.
Then add the peeled tomatoes and ground them coarsely together.
Remove in a serving bowl, add the brahmi leaves, mix well and serve.
