Brahmi Leaves Chutney

The superb herb brahmi leaves recipe in a Naga Style Chutney. Brahmi is one super food having lots of medicinal properties. It is also used widely in ayurveda.

  • Brahmi leaves - 2 cups
  • Green Chilly - 10-12
  • Tomato - 1 large
  • Dry Fish - 1 medium
  • Garlic - 4-5
  • Salt


  • Wash the brahmi leaves nicely and collect on the leaves.
  • Prick the green chillies. Heat a tawa over gas top.
  • Roast the green chillies, tomato and dry fish till all roasted well about 10-12 mins.
  • In a mortar and pestle coarsely ground the green chillies, garlic cloves an dry fish.
  • Then add the peeled tomatoes and ground them coarsely together.
  • Remove in a serving bowl, add the brahmi leaves, mix well and serve.
