Ingredients
- Grated bottle gourd / lauki - 1 bowl
- Sugar - 1/2 bowl
- Lemon juice - 3 tsp
- Salt
- cloves - 3 - 4
- Black pepper - 3 - 4
- Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
- Raisins - 1 tbsp
- Oil - 1 tbsp

Instructions
- Blanch the bottle gourd / lauki with one cup of water for five mins.and strain it.
- Heat oil in a pan,add black pepper,cloves and cardamom powder to splutter.
- Add bottle gourd / lauki and sugar and saute till it gets thick.
- Add salt and lemon juice.
- Garnish with raisins.
