Ingredients
  

  • Grated bottle gourd / lauki - 1 bowl
  • Sugar - 1/2 bowl
  • Lemon juice - 3 tsp
  • Salt
  • cloves - 3 - 4
  • Black pepper - 3 - 4
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Raisins - 1 tbsp
  • Oil - 1 tbsp

Instructions
 

  • Blanch the bottle gourd / lauki with one cup of water for five mins.and strain it.
  • Heat oil in a pan,add black pepper,cloves and cardamom powder to splutter.
  • Add bottle gourd / lauki and sugar and saute till it gets thick.
  • Add salt and lemon juice.
  • Garnish with raisins.
