Mishti doi is just the trademark of the Bengali sweets and this is fusion of the same with a little bit of panache. A delicious baked yoghurt with the indulgence of blackcurrants.
Hung curd - 1/4 th cup
Fresh cream - 1/4 th cup
Condensed milk - 1/4 th cup
Blackcurrants - 1/2 cup
Vanilla extract (optional) - (1/2 tsp)
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Whisk the hung curd and the sugar to form a smooth paste.
Now whisk in the condensed milk , vanilla extract and cream into the above.
Finally fold in the blackcurrants and pour it into ramekins.
Put the ramekins in a bain Marie (a tray filled with hot water).
Place the tray in a preheated oven at 180â„ƒ and bake for 20 minutes. Chill and serve.
