Blackcurrant Baked Yoghurt

Mishti doi is just the trademark of the Bengali sweets and this is fusion of the same with a little bit of panache. A delicious baked yoghurt with the indulgence of blackcurrants.

Ingredients
  

  • Hung curd - 1/4 th cup
  • Fresh cream - 1/4 th cup
  • Condensed milk - 1/4 th cup
  • Blackcurrants - 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla extract optional - (1/2 tsp)
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp

Instructions
 

  • Whisk the hung curd and the sugar to form a smooth paste.
  • Now whisk in the condensed milk , vanilla extract and cream into the above.
  • Finally fold in the blackcurrants and pour it into ramekins.
  • Put the ramekins in a bain Marie (a tray filled with hot water).
  • Place the tray in a preheated oven at 180℃ and bake for 20 minutes. Chill and serve.
