Bell Peppers Stir Fry

This is a simple few ingredients recipe good to kill your 4 o'clock hunger.If accompanied with a protein like Moong dal chila, paper dosa or roti like i do it could be a healthy breakfast too. Let's make it..

  • Different coloured sliced bellpeppers 1 large bowl
  • Crushed black pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2tsp
  • Salt
  • Mustard oil 1tsp
  • Roasted seasme seeds 1tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp


  • Heat aheavy bottom pan. Add mustard oil and heat till fumes start coming out of it.Add cumin seed & let it splutter
  • Add bellpeppers , black pepper salt & lemon juice. Salute well. Cook for 5 min on medium flame. Sprinkle roasted seasme seeds & it's done.


  • Cook on slow flame as we are using less oil
  • You can use olive oil or vegetable oil . I used mustard oil because I prefer my cooking in it.you can avoid cumin seeds if you don’t like it’s flavour. But it is very good for weight loss. You may use cumin powder.
