About this Recipe

Beetroot rawa idli is very healthy option for breakfast . Rawa is very healthy grain for us . Beetroot is full of iron in it . These idlis are look very delish and beautiful .

Ingredients & Quantity
  • 1 cup rawa
  • 1 cup sour curd
  • Water as required
  • 1 small beetroot grated
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • Some curry leaves
  • 2 tsp oil
  • Eno salt 1 small sachet
How to cook?
  1. First soak rawa and curd fir about 20 minutes .
  2. After 20 minutes add grated beetroot into rawa and curd , mix all ingredients well . Add some water for getting idli batter consistency. Add salt to the batter and mix well .
  3. Grease idli moulds properly . Now add eno into the idli batter , fold gently . Immidiately pour batter into the idli moulds .
  4. Beetroot Rawa Idli
  5. Steam it for about 15 - 20 minutes . Beetroot idli are ready . Let it cool . Then cut idlis into small pieces .
  6. Beetroot Rawa Idli
  7. For tempering - take a pan add some oil , now add mustard seeds , when they starts crackle , add curry leaves . Turn off the gas . Pour this tempering on idli .serve hot with any chutney of your choice .

U can eat it with sambhar also .
