So this is something that would be apt for a perfect winter evening tea snack, packed with goodness of beetroot.. "BEETROOT & POTATO CUTLETS"

Ingredients
  

  • Beetroot chopped - 1 cup
  • Carrots chopped - 1/2 cup
  • Beans chopped - 1/4 th cup
  • Onion chopped - 1
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Refined oil
  • Outer covering :
  • Boiled and mashed potatoes - 2
  • Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Mixed herbs - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Egg whites
  • Bread crumbs

Instructions
 

  • Heat some oil in a pan, add chopped onion and saute till golden brown and then add all the chopped vegetables.
  • Add salt, ginger garlic paste and red chilly powder. Give it a mix and cook till the vegetables are cooked.
  • Now add salt , pepper powder and mixed herbs to the mashed potatoes.
  • Take small roundels of the potato mix and stuff with the beetroot mix.
  • Reshape them as cutlets, dip them in egg whites and then in bread crumbs.Deep fry them.
