Beetroot Poories

These poories are red in colour but without adding any kind of artificial colour. This beautiful red colour is just because of beetroot.

  • Multi grain flour 1cup
  • Beetroot 1
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying


  • Firstly peel and chop beetroot.
  • Now grind it to get a smooth beetroot paste.
  • Add all ingredients and make a tight daugh.
  • Heat oil in a wok.
  • Take a lemon size dough and roll it with a rolling pin.
  • Now fry this poorie .
  • Flip and fry from both sides equally.
  • Serve with curry, pickle and chutney with which you want to have.
