Hummus" comes from the Arabic word meaning "chickpeas. Hummus goes well with veg salad, chips, nachos, crackers or burgers, sandwiches.
In this recipe I have used cooked beetroot along with cooked chickpeas blended using some spices. It goes well with veg salad or sandwiches.

Ingredients
- Boiled Chickpeas – ½ cup
- Cooked Beetroot – ½ cup
- Tahini Sauce – 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice – 2 tsp
- Garlic clove – 2-3
- Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Freshly ground black paper – 1 tsp
- Olive oil or any vegetable oil- 1/2 tbsp
- Salt

Instructions
- Add all ingredients into blender. Blend it into a smooth paste.
- Serve with crackers or nachos.
- Store in an airtight container and transfer in refrigerator. Consume within two days.
