  • Milk - Whole Milk 1 litre
  • Sugar 300 gms
  • Soaked - Deskinned and chopped Almonds 2 tb spoons, Charoli seeds 2 tb spoons, Cardamom powder 1/2 tea spoon
  • 2 strings of Saffron soaked in warm milk of 2 tb spoons


  • Take milk in a heavy bottomed vessel with a good height and heat in medium flame. Stir the milk then and there. You need patience to make this Basundi.
  • Keep boiling the milk atleast for 45 minutes stirring inbetween. When you are near the stove keep it at full flame and stir. When the milk comes up keep the flame at low.
