Additional Tips

  • To prevent the golgappa shells from getting soggy, assemble the pucchcas just before serving, and make sure the basundi is chilled and thick in consistency.
  • For a colorful variation, try using a mix of different fruit crushes or compotes (like mango or blueberry) alongside the strawberry to create a vibrant dessert platter.
  • If you want to make this dish ahead, store the basundi and bundi separately in the refrigerator and keep the golgappas in an airtight container at room temperature, assembling only at the last minute for maximum crunch.
  • For a festive presentation, garnish each pucchca with edible rose petals or a tiny mint leaf in addition to the mixed nuts for an elegant touch.
