Healthy dessert-barley kheer. As we know barley is healthy food product but we should know the trick how to feed our kids and ourselves also. It is a healthy diet easy recipe added with nutritious ingredients

Ingredients
- 1/2 litre milk
- 2 tbsp barley
- 2 tbsp jaggery grated
- 2 tbsp coconut grated
- 2 tbsp coconut milk
- 1 tbsp raisins
- 1 tbsp dry fruits
- 1/2 green cardamom powder

Instructions
- Soak barley with same amount of warm water for 15 minutes.
- Start boiling milk then add soaked barley and stir continuously. Barley should not stick into the bottom.
- Slowly milk will reduce and barley will become soft. Now add raisins, dry fruits, grated coconut and green cardamom powder.
- Again boil for a minute then switch off the burner and add grated jaggery and coconut milk.
- Stir evenly and keep for 10 minutes. Either it can be served immediately or can be kept in fridge.
Notes
- If barley soaked before it will take less time to cook.
