  • 1 Taro banda
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 4 tsp Rice powder
  • 1/2 cup Coriander or paste fresh paste
  • 1 tsp Green Chilli Paste
  • 2 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Asafoetida
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • Oil as required


  • Taro (banda) should be skin free par boil and cut into round shape.
  • Then marinate with salt turmeric powder red chilli powder and lemon juice.
  • Then wrap with rice powder and dip fry. Now make a filling.
  • Add 2 tsp oil in a heated pan and asafoetida. Then coriander paste, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, green chilli paste, curd and salt.
  • Stir fry till dry. Now make a sandwich keep one fried taro (banda) in bottom then coriander filling and another fried banda in top.
  • Garnish with curd crushed black pepper.
