About this Recipe

I love this recipe as its very healthy and a boon for people who want to control their diet and have a sumptuous and hearty meal. Infused with the freshness of green veggies,  this recipe is wholesome, nutritious and very easy to make rather Bake!!! I have made few changes to make it healthy eg While making the white sauce I used Corn flour instead of maida and used olive oil in place of butter.

Ingredients & Quantity
  • Vegetables of your choice - 1 Capsicum (Green),
  • 1 Capsicum – Yellow,
  • 5 Baby Corn sticks
  • 50 gram of button Mushroom
  • 1 green zucchini
  • 2 big Onion
  • Salt
  • Crushed pepper
  • 2 cups of water to boil
  • For White sauce
  • 2 tsp Corn flour
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tsp olive oil
How to cook?
  1. Chop all the vegetables in cubes or square shape or rather in big pieces as when you eat these vegetables you would enjoy them.
  2. Add water in a pot and put the pot to boil. Add all the vegetables and boil it for 5 minutes so that they become soft and hence would take less time in microwave during baking. Strain them using a Strainer or Colander.
  3. Take milk and add corn flour, stir it till all the lumps are dissolved.
  4. Heat the wok and put olive oil, you should never heat olive oil too much as at high temperature it becomes unstable.
  5. Add onion and saute it till it becomes translucent or glossy.
  6. Pour the milk & Corn flour liquid mix into the wok and stir it slowly till the pot starts boiling.
  7. Add vegetables and salt, crushed pepper. It’s always good to use fresh crushed pepper due to its aroma and flavor.
  8. Preheat the microwave for 200 degree Celsius.Set the timer for 30 minutes. .
  9. Take the baking dish and brush it with olive oil pour the vegetables and keep it in microwave for baking
