Baked Sweet Potato

Winter brings with it a variety of vegetables and fruits and hence its time to keep trying new recipes in your kitchen, I brought few sweet potatoes to make a traditional curry out of it but then ended up baking it. A very simple preparation  which will go as a side dish or can be eaten as main course along with salads.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 big sweet potatoes 500 gram
  • 5 Garlic Cloves Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorn Crushed
  • 1-2 Amul Cheese cubes shredded
  • 10-15 Basil Leaves coarsely chopped
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Rock salt Sendha Namak

Instructions
 

  • Peel the sweet potato and boil it in an open pot for about 10 mins. Cool and cut into small cubes.
  • Take a baking tray and brush olive oil on the edges.
  • Place the cut sweet potatoes and add rest of  the ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius, and bake it for 45 minutes.
