About this recipe

A delectable seafood recipe that has very few ingredients that brings out the actual taste of the fish. This is a very healthy dish that you can cook in just few minutes.

Ingredients for Baked Fish

  • Fish Fillet 4 pieces (any white fish)
  • Butter 1 tsp
  • Mayonnaise 3 tbsp
  • Onion Flakes ½ tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder ¼ tsp
  • Bread Crumbs ½ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Dried Parsley to Garnish

How to cook Baked Fish

  1. Pat dry fish with paper towel. Sprinkle some salt.
  2. In a bowl mix together butter, mayonnaise, salt , pepper powder and onion flakes.
  3. Pre-heat the oven to 170°C.
  4. Arrange the fish fillet, skin side down in a baking dish, each piece 1 centimeter away from each other.
  5. Coat each fillet with generous amount of mayo mixture. Top with bread crumbs.
  6. Keep the baking dish on a high rack and bake for 10 minutes. Check if the fish is cooked. It will start flaking when cooked.
  7. Grill the fish for 1-2 minutes till the bread crumbs become crispy.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve with mashed potato.
