Yield / Serves
1 tbsp oil + 1tsp garlic herb butter
Garlic 2, finely chopped.
onion, chopped finely, 1 spoon.
Oregano & chilli flakes 1 tsp each
Salt to taste
For making white sauce : Garlic herb Butter 1 tbsp
Maida/APF 1+1/2 tsp
1 cup milk
paprika and oregano 1 tsp each
Salt and black pepper powder to taste
Processed & Parmesan cheese for topping 2 tbsp
wash and peel potatoes. Chop into fine cubes. Set aside. Heat oil in a pan, add the butter. Put chopped garlic & onion. Saute for 1 minute. Mix in finely cut potatoes. Add salt and black pepper.
Next add oregano and chilli flakes. Take out in a bowl and keep aside.
Make the white sauce: Melt the butter, add maida/ flour. Let it roast for 1 minute. Add the milk and stir until it thickens. Add salt and black peeper, then turn off stove. Cool it.
Now in a oven proof remakin first layer white sauce. Place potato mix with spoon over it. Again layer it with white sauce and potato mix.Cover this with white sauce. Place grated cheese over it.
Bake this in preheated oven at 180 degree for 12 to 15 minutes or the upper cheese crust turns golden brown. Serve hot.
