  • Mix all purpose flour, rice flour, badam paste and milk to a dough of thick consistency.
  • Keep it aside for ten minutes.
  • Make sugar syrup by adding one cup of water to it. Add strands of saffron and cardamom powder to it. It should be of one string consistency.
  • Take three lemon sized balls of the dough. Roll them into circle.
  • Apply ghee and dust a little flour to it. Keep them one over the other and roll.
  • Cut into small sections in it.
  • Take one section and roll it into a puri.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Fry the puri. Let it be golden on both sides. Remove on a tissue paper.
  • Repeat for the rest of the balls
  • Put the fried puris in sugar syrup for five minutes. Remove and serve. Desiccated coconut may be added to it.
