Baba Ghanoush

Baba Ghanoush - Plattershare - Recipes, food stories and food lovers
This recipe is made with eggplant (brinjal) and tahini, a mixture of garlic, white sesame seeds, peanuts, almonds, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt.
Make a paste with all these ingredients. I roasted the eggplant with garlic on a tawa until it was smoky-flavored and soft. After finishing the Baba Ghanoush recipe, it can be applied on bread or added to salad.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 Brinjal medium sized
  • 4 to 6 cloves Garlic
  • 8 to 10 Almonds
  • 1 tbsp White Sesame
  • 1 tbsp Peanuts
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder Roasted
  • ½ tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste

Instructions
 

  • Roast the brinjal with rubbing oil and pricking garlic. Roast both sides to give a smoking flavoured. After then remove the skin and mash.

  • Make the tahini paste with garlic, white sesame, peanuts and almonds.

  • Take a mixing bowl add tahini, lemon juice, salt, mashed eggplant. Mix all ingredients and roasted cumin powder and chill powder evenly.

  • Garnish with tahini, chilli powder roasted cumin powder. Serve with bread or salad.
