Description

Awadh means Lucknow. Evening of Lucknow is very famous. When delegates come to Lucknow they search Awadhi dish. Multi chut, kulfi and mostly Awadhi recipes with non veg.

Ingredients & Quantity
  • 500 gms murgh
  • 1/2 cup boiled onion paste
  • 1/2 cup fried onion paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp all ground spice
  • Whole cinnamon, cloves and cardamom
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Rose water

How to cook?
  1. Marinate murgh with onion paste, ginger garlic paste, curd, tomato puree and red chilli powder. Keep aside for minimum 15 minutes.
  2. Now add oil in the cooking vessel heat and add bay leaves and whole cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom.
  3. Then add the marinated murgh mix well stir continuously. Cover the lid till soft add salt.
  4. Now add all ground masala, coconut milk, rose water. Again cover for a minute.
  5. Serve with lachha paratha.
Notes

It will better if we cook in iron vessel.
