Awadh means Lucknow. Evening of Lucknow is very famous. When delegates come to Lucknow they search Awadhi dish. Multi chut, kulfi and mostly Awadhi recipes with non veg.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gms murgh
  • 1/2 cup boiled onion paste
  • 1/2 cup fried onion paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon all ground spice
  • Whole cinnamon cloves and cardamom
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree
  • Oil as required
  • Salt
  • Rose water

Instructions
 

  • Marinate murgh with onion paste, ginger garlic paste, curd, tomato puree and red chilli powder. Keep aside for minimum 15 minutes.
  • Now add oil in the cooking vessel heat and add bay leaves and whole cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom.
  • Then add the marinated murgh mix well stir continuously. Cover the lid till soft add salt.
  • Now add all ground masala, coconut milk, rose water. Again cover for a minute.
  • Serve with lachha paratha.

Notes

It will better if we cook in iron vessel.
