Australian Strawberry Lamingtons

Ingredients
- Maida- 3/4cup
- Corn flour- 3tbsp
- Oil- 1/4cup
- Milk- 1cup
- Vinegar-1 1/2tbsp
- Strawberry essence- 1 1/2tsp
- Sugar- 1/2cup
- Salt- 1/4tsp
- Baking powder- 1tsp
- Baking soda- 1/2tsp
- Strawberry jam- 1/2cup
- Desicated coconut - 1cup
Instructions
- Grease a baking pan and line with butter paper and keep aside
- Preheat the oven for 5 to 6 mins in 200 degree Celsius
- In a mixing bowl add maida, corn flour, slat, baking powder and baking soda and mix properly. Shift the mixture twicr and keep aside
- In another bowl add sugar and oil and mix properly
- In another bowl add milk and vinegar. It may curdle and Don't worry it won't affect the cake
- Add the milk to the oil and sugar mixture and mix properly. Then add strawberry essence and mix
- Now add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in two batches. Mix properly without lumps.
- Then poured the batter in to the already lined baking pan and put in the preheated oven and bake it for 35 mins in 180degree celcius
- Cook up to toothpick comes out clean
- Remove from oven and let it cool down completely
- Then spread dessicated coconut on a plate. Then cut the cake in squares
- Melt strawberry jam
- First roll the cake squares on the melted Kam and gain roll on the dessicated coconut and serve
