Anar Sooji Ka Halwa

Anar sooji halwa is a fusion recipe made by using pomegranate in the preparation of the regular sooji ka halwa. The tanginess of the pomegranate makes it a great combination. It is also a healthy snack for kids.

Ingredients
- Sooji - 2 tbsp
- Ghee - 2 tsp
- Sugar - 1 and a half tsp
- Water - half a cup
- Pomegranate juice - 2 tbsp
- Pomegranate seeds - a handful divided into half

Instructions
- Shell the pomegranate seeds and extract their juice. Keep a few seeds aside for garnish also.
- Heat ghee in a pan and roast the sooji till light brown.
- Now add the water and let it cook completely for about 5 minutes.
- Once all the water has been absorbed, add the pomegranate juice and a few seeds. Stir well for half a minute.
- Now add the sugar and cook for another minute. Garnish with fresh pomegranate seeds and serve.
