Ingredients
- 2 large Potatoes
- 2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste coarsely grounded
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Oil for deep frying
- 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
- Batter for
- 1/2 gm Gram flour
- 1 tbsp Rice Flour
- 1/2 tsp Chilli Powder
- Water as required
- 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda

Instructions
- Peel the potatoes and pressure cook for 2 whistles. Once pressure releases drain off the water and mash the potatoes. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil and add the ginger garlic, green chillies and fry for a min.
- Add turmeric powder, cumin and coriander powder and mix well.
- Add the mashed potato, salt and mix thoroughly. Set aside.
- Take the batter ingredients and make a smooth batter without any lumps by adding water little by little at a time. Make sure that the batter is not thin.
- Make small balls from the potato mixture and flatten the balls using your palms.
- Heat oil for Deep frying. Take each flatten potato mixture, dip in batter and deep fry till golden which will take around 5-10 mins.
- Drain in absorbent paper/towel and serve with any chutney of your choice or serve as it is with hot cup of tea.
