Fried small pieces potatoes in heated oil n served with sweet chutney. Sweet chutney made with tomato ketchup, sugar and flavorful spices.
Yield / Serves
4 large potatoes (peeled and cut into small
Oil for deep fry
Salt a pinch
Chat masala a pinch
Some chopped onion for garnishing (optional)
For Sweet Chutney:-
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup tomato ketchup hot and sweet
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1 tablespoon mango powder
Heat oil n deep fry potatoes till it done n the color change in golden. Transfer it on absorbing paper.
Add sugar n water in pan and cook for 5minutes on high flame till sugar dissolve n sugar syrup starts boiling. Keep stir in between.
Add tomato ketchup in it. Mix well n bring it to boil on low flame for 3minutes
Add cumin powder n mix it. Add salt mix it well n cook it on low flame for minute.
Add red chilli powder and mix it well.
Add amchur powder n mix it well, u can see in the image that the chutney starts bubbling n get little thick and shiny. Switch off the flame.
Take serving bowls mix fried potatoes and chatpati chutney well. Garnish with chopped onion n sprinkle salt and chat masala.
