Aloo Bhaji/ Aloo Ki Sabzi

Aloo Bhaji is a very simple, light and easy recipe. It is a soulful and comfort food of thw Indians. It is prepared with light and simple spice ingredients easily available in our pantry. It is perfect with dal rice, pooris or chapathi.

Ingredients
  

  • Potato 3 peeled and sliced
  • Onion 2 sliced
  • Paanch puran 1 tsp
  • Cumin or Carom powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Oil 2 tbsp

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add the Paanch puran and saute till brown.
  • Add potatoes, turmeric, salt to taste and cook over high heat for 5-6 mins stirring occasionally. Now simmer and cook for 7-8 mins.
  • Add the sliced onion and cook on high heat for few mins and simmer for couple of mins until onion turns soft. Again increase the heat and cook on high heat for few mins.
  • Add the cumin or carom powder, give a quick stir and take off the heat.
