Alli-Billi sounds interesting! Isn’t it? Let me share the reason behind this unique name During my childhood , my younger sister who was then in forth standard, invited her friends on my mother’s birthday without informing my mom. In the evening, all of my sister’s friends visited our home and my mom was surprised to see them without any prior notice. Soon , she prepared these ladoos as the ingredients were easily available at home and are healthy too. Unlike today wherein children are fond of Junk foods , our childhood days were filled with tasty and healthy home-made foods Today, when my mom and I prepare this sweet at home my three year old daughter calls this sweet as ‘Alli-Billi’ which is her brain-child We found the name interesting and re-named these healthy ladoos as ‘Alli-Billi Ladoos.’
