Instructions
- In 2 lts pressure cooker add 3 tbsps water to prevent burning and 1 tbsp oil (for masala)
- if you wish layer with onions. I do not like onions in my masala (For masala)
- Add the chopped potato as the next layer (or first depending on your choice) (For masala)
- Add the curry leaves, green chillies, turmeric, salt. DO NOT MIX (For masala)
- Cook it for 2 whistles or 4 mins (For masala)
- Release pressure immediately and mix (For masala) Add warm water or whey if you want to eat it as a side dish along with the adai but where is the fun in that? I made it into a think masala as a filling
- Mix all the ingredients listed above for chutney with salt to taste
- Spread the adai batter as small circles and let it go a bit firm
- Spread the chutney evenly on the adai and place a quantity of masala in the center. I used an ice-cream scoop for the shape 🙂
- Cover and let it go crisp (not too long) and enjoy
Recipe Notes
The chutney can be made when the potato masala is getting made
