3 Step Barwa Baigan (Stuffed Eggplant / Brinjal

Yes, you heard me right. This recipe is so simple that I can’t believe. I was so happy while preparing and eating it. I felt like  finally I am becoming a better cook. I remember, it was a herculean task for my mom to make  stuffed  delicacies like Eggplant,okra as she first roasted masala  and stuffed it which took hours and by that time we, kids used to sleep off. All thanks to “Bedekar Goda Masala” which I found in supermarket. It has quite different combination from rest of the sabji masalas. So here are 3 simple steps (Literary 3 steps) to make this recipe.
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 35 minutes

  • 4- 5 Long green Brinjal Eggplant
  • 5 tbsp of GODA Masala
  • Salt
  • 3 tbsp Curd
  • 10 tbsp Vegetable oil This curry would need more oil as compared to any normal curry


  • Take long, green brinjals and slit them.
  • Mix Curd, Goda Masala and Salt to form a paste.
  • Stuff the paste into brinjal and fry it in hot oil for 30 minutes.
