Ingredients & Quantity
  • Colocasia 1/2 kg
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Carom seeds 2 tsp
  • Finely chopped green chili 1 tbsp or 4 no
  • Ghee or Oil or Olive oil 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder as per taste or 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander for garnishing .

How to cook?
  1. Wash the colocasia and boil in pressure cooker for 10 minutes,cool,peel and cur into two.
  2. Marinade with lemon juice,salt and black pepper powder for 5 minutes,
  3. Heat the oil in a pane crackle the carom seeds saute the green chili add marinated arvi ,red chili powder and garam masala powder .
  4. Stir and mix all ingredients,cook it for 2 minute ,turn off the heat.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves serve hot with paratha or chapati .
