Review – Hotel Sri Saravana Bhavan Elite, Yercaud

Recently we have been to YERCAUD – Hill station in Salem District, also known as Shervaroy Hills. On the way to lake we found Hotel Sri Saravana Bhavan Elite, we got excited when we saw the name Saravana Bhavan and entered into the hotel.
The hotel was small with few seats, very clean and in good atmosphere. A pure vegetarian hotel with awesome foods in their menu, not only awesome but also they have many healthy foods cooked in millets like upma, dosa, idli and so on. The quality of the food was too good, the flavor and texture unbeatable. I would say a “Heavenly Treat “– for tourist in Yercaud. We tried out different dishes like kuthiravalli upma (Barnyard Millet), we were much excited when we found a name “Customer care coffee” in their menu – specially prepared for the people who go for walking in the early morning and also it’s available only between 6 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
As a non-vegetarian lover we skipped the lunch but we again we went for snack time, we were not feeling hungry and so planned for Filter coffee – since they had the authentic and traditional Filter coffee. But after going there we found kulipaniyaram in their menu and ordered for one plate for us, when one of us had it, he called out the waiter and ordered for one more plate, telling that it won’t be enough for all of us (tasted heavenly).
Location: It’s very near to the lake, so easy for tourist to make a visit. Address: Hotel K.C. Building, 17/27 Manjakuttai Road, Opp Coffee Board, Near Lake Roundana, Yercaud – 636602.
The very next day we started to Bangalore, but before leaving we had an authentic South Indian Breakfast. I would say a best place for breakfast, dinner, and snack time for everyone and a good hangout for those who prefer vegetarian lunch.
I would highly recommend this place for people who go to Yercaud. Never miss it.
