Modak With A Twist. Malpua Style Modak With Rabri Filling

Its ganesha celebration time. ..
Wanted to make something innovative for lord ganesha.
Well after thinking alot hard… an out of the box creation poped up.
Yes i made modak but with a twist. .. its malpua coating style with rubri filled inside the modak.
Recipe –
For rubri i made in morning and fridge it
Method :
200gm milkmaid, 100gm paneer, 1/2liter milk. 3tbsp maida
Crumble paneer coarsely. Make a paste of maida with slight milk. Combine NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk and the rest of milk and bring to a boil.
Add maida paste to milk stirring continuously. Reduce flame and cook for 5 minutes.
Add chopped nuts, kesar, paneer and elaichi powder. Remove from fire. Cool and refrigerate.
Make Chachani add saffron in it.
Now whn i planned to make the coating. .i first tried maida with milk and baking soda. .made a dough. .kept it for 20mins. .thn made modaks by filled the thick rubri in it ( make sure the rubri is as thick as custurd kind )… now whn i deep fried it the modak started to open up…so i planned to steam the modak and the dipped in chachani to 5 second and removed it.
Now i made another dough of wheat flour. ..added the rubri filling and deep fried it..deep in chachani for 5 second and out.
Both tasted awesome.
This was ready for the offering.
