One of the main reasons why we get fat without realizing it is the lack of awareness of what the calories that you can easily avoid, or from which it is good to stay clear, namely the so-called “unnecessary calories”.
Calories indicate the energy introduced into our bodies a certain food, vital energy for a normal life: 1 gram of sugar provides approximately 4 Kcalorie, while 1 gram of fat provides about 9.
The “empty calories” are related to the intake of pure sugar or is not associated with vitamins, minerals and other micronutrients essential for the organism.
A classic example of “empty calories” is that of alcohol, which contains 7 Kcalorie per gram but translates into pure sugar in our body without making any nutrient value.
Sugar alcohol, indeed, is one of the main enemies of the line: hard to quantify how much they drink and even more difficult to dispose of sugars, which easily end up accumulating on our tummy.
The “unnecessary calories” are those provided by providing food as well as other nutrients, but that may not be hired.
In other words, with a bit of attention and, above all, more awareness, we could avoid assuming, since they are intended only to make us gain weight.
Dress the salad by pouring the oil “to eye” – without dose-, add a packet of sugar in tea or coffee, enjoy a carbonated drink in addition, do not take into account how much salt you add to food, say yes to chocolate or ice cream mid-afternoon …. are just examples of how you can easily introduce excess calories, calories that hardly burn during the day and Thus will become fat.
Let’s be more precise.
Olive oil – which we recommend in every diet as the only seasoning raw-: 10 grams of olive oil (but also by semi) correspond to 90 Kcalorie.
The suggestion is to learn how to dose it with a spoon, to avoid exceeding without realizing it. Low-calorie diets, in General, allow 2 teaspoons olive oil to lunch and 2 teaspoons of olive oil for dinner. No more, if you really want to lose weight.
Grated Parmesan seems harmless, but how many teaspoons do we use? 10 grams of grated cheese are Kcalorie 40. Without knowing even a plate of boiled rice becomes caloric intake!
Keep in mind that all cheeses are high-calorie foods: excluding those really thin – as the flakes of milk or fresh ricotta – from mozzarella with gorgonzola cheese calories range from 300 to 500 per ounce.

A sugary drink – very little in itself – contains about 130 satiating kcalorie. A goodies which you can forgo taking seriously the habit to carry a bottle of water. More the body will get used to drinking water, the more you ask for, and will not be more difficult then reach 2 liters of water per day are recommended in all diets as healthy rule.
Sweetened coffee: coffee with 2 a packet of sugar from 8 grams each make Kcalorie 62. But how many you take per day?
It is immediately clear why diets-calorie diet is recommended consumption of bitter coffee.
A curiosity: brown sugar is just fine, but brings about the same calories for white sugar.
Here the pasta: 10 grams of pasta make kcalorie 35, which are many, but we must of course remember the condiments and sauces. They are the ones who make the higher the amount of calories taken in a meal.
Various sauces and condiments would be “cut” completely: suffice it to say that a tablespoon of mayonnaise in a sandwich or on a salad, adds about 400 Kcalorie. An excellent example of how many calories are “hidden” in the food that contains the whole milk. That does not change to semi-skimmed but taste is decidedly less caloric: makes about 20 less Kcalorie dosage being equal. An ingested fat savings which is very easy to do! And that chocolate that we can’t refuse? 10 grams are approximately 55 kcalorie. Try to think a chocolate in more per day would fatten about 2.5 kg per year!
In reality these “small cuts” seem trivial, but to be careful enough about the amount of “unnecessary” calories we ingest on a daily basis is a very impressive calculation. If every day, in fact, hire ourselves, 500 more calories than our needs we may get to fatten more than 25 pounds in one year!
In light of all this it is clear that the frustrations of many people who put themselves on a diet but fail to lose weight may actually arise from a lack of education and a lightness in the calculation of the calories.
Just easy daily cuts in the consumption of fats, sugars and salt to realize that respect a diet is not difficult and you can lose weight really.
