A spicy and tangy Chutney prepared from Raw Banana peel. An authentic recipe from my Mom's Kitchen.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Raw Banana Peel
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin Seed
  • 3 Dry Red Chili
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Tamarind Paste
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Oil

Instructions
 

  • Take the raw Banana Peel and soak in turmeric water for 5 minute. Pressure cook in one cup of water to one whistle.
  • Take a pan and heat oil. Put cumin Seed and chilis. Sauté for a minute. Add banana Peel and Sauté for 3-5 minute until they are dry.
  • Switch off the flame and cool the mixture. Now add tamarind Paste, sugar and salt. Grind the mixture to a fine paste.
  • It's ready to serve. Enjoy your meal with this , or as a dip with your snacks 🙂
